Hello, I’m Esther Yim, a dedicated mother of two and a passionate beauty professional. My journey into the world of beauty was inspired by my mother’s own beauty salon, which opened my eyes to the transformative power of personal care. Choosing beauty over traditional academia, I’ve found a deep connection to the practical and impactful side of this industry.

In the permanent makeup industry, I have the honor of serving as an AAM Platinum Instructor, AAM Board Member, and the AAM’s Korean Ambassador. My qualifications also include being an SPCP Trainer Member and a certified specialist in Bloodborne Pathogens, roles that allow me to contribute meaningfully to the safety and quality standards in our field. Additionally, as a Chairperson for the Korean Permanent Makeup Artists of New York New Jersey (KPMA NYNJ), I strive to lead with expertise and compassion.

My personal experience with eyebrow and lip tattoos not only surprised me with their convenience but also their profound impact on my daily life. This experience allows me to connect genuinely with my clients—many of whom are mothers like me, looking for beauty solutions that blend seamlessly into their busy lives.

As a lifelong learner, I always put myself in my students’ shoes, understanding that it’s my responsibility to teach them to the best of my knowledge. My teaching is not just about skills but about instilling confidence and knowledge in my students, preparing them to carry forward the art and science of beauty.

Outside of my professional life, I am passionate about building a legacy for my family. I want to show my children and my students the value of hard work and the power of pursuing one’s passions. My goal is to inspire everyone around me to build their own kind of empire. In 2019, I started Hudson Beauty Bar, and in 2024, acquired Feminink Beauty, which stands as one of my biggest accomplishments. But I believe there’s still more to come!
