Should I Do A Dry Heal For Microbladed Eyebrows?

Dry healing is best method of healing for Microblading. This is because wetting the eyebrows during the healing stage can potentially cause the pigment to lift from the skin and have less retention. If you keep the eyebrows completely dry you can avoid fading. I do however give an after care ointment to use during this stage. It was made specifically for healing skin after getting Microblading or any micropigmentation procedure. This ointment has antibacterial properties that will keep the eyebrows safe from any bacteria or pollution. Due to the fact that you will not be able to wash the area for about 2 weeks it is important to use this ointment to protect the skin from unwanted bacteria and possible infection. It will also act as a lubricant to soothe the eyebrows during this stage. While the eyebrows begin to scab and peel they can feel itchy. This ointment will effectively relieve the itchy feeling from your eyebrow area. Beside this ointment I do not recommend to use another other creams or oils on the eyebrows. No aquaphor or Vaseline is required. These are not made for healing and can affect the retention of the pigment.
